The President of the Union of Commercial and Food Workers (UCFW), Yusuf Mohamed, participated in the Somalia STEM Summit 2024, held today in Mogadishu. The summit also saw the presence of key figures including the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Hon. Osman Libax Ibrahim, and a number of young students from universities across Somalia.
The focus of the summit was on education in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
